Miquel Serratosa “I understand painting as an exploration and analysis of the paths offered by pictorial creation and elaboration. For me, it is an act of emancipation in search of creative and personal freedom. Through pictorial abstraction, I seek to express this freedom. I paint to learn and discover where I want to go, what I can become… Living in this emancipation of the creative process, omitting and questioning the frames or limits one generates, knowing they are never finite, and considering that there is no end result, is the dialogue I establish with my painting. The love for painting, the history that this genre has carried through the centuries, and the poetics of the materials used at different stages of pictorial creation are elements I incorporate into my work process.” Permanent artist in Artevistas Gallery #artgallerybarcelona #artbarcelona #art #artgallery
